The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the Class 12 results in May 2026. Last year, the result was announced on May 13, 2025, with an overall pass percentage of 88.39%. This will bring an end to the anticipation for millions of students across the country. How to Check Results – CBSE 12th Result 2026
To check their results via DigiLocker, students must first visit the official website: digilocker.gov.in.
Next, they will need to log in by entering their mobile number or Aadhaar number.
Then, they must click on the ‘Issued Documents’ section.
Subsequently, they will need to click on the link for the CBSE Class 12 results.
Finally, they will be required to enter the requested details.

Minimum Marks Required to Pass
To pass the CBSE Class 12 examinations, students must secure a minimum of 33 per cent marks in each subject. For subjects with practicals, students must pass in both theory and practical separately. Any student securing less than this minimum percentage will be considered to have failed the examination.
