This is one of the largest government job opportunities of the year for 10th pass candidates across India. A total of 9,195 vacancies have been announced — 9,175 for Constable (Technical & Tradesmen) and 20 for Constable (Pioneer Wing). Educational Qualification

• General Trades (Cook, Tailor, Painter, etc.): Matriculation (Class 10th pass) from a recognized Board or University
• Driver (CT/Dvr): Matriculation (10th pass) + Valid Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) Driving License + must pass driving test at the time of recruitment
• Motor Mechanic Vehicle (MMV): Matriculation (10th pass) + 2-year ITI certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle from a recognized institution + 1-year practical experience in the concerned trade OR 3-year National/State Apprenticeship Certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle + 1-year practical experience
• Pioneer Wing (Mason/Electrician): Matriculation (10th pass) + 1-year experience in respective trade; preference given to candidates with ITI certificate in the relevant trade

Important: All qualifications must be acquired on or before 1 January 2026 (the cut-off date). Candidates who have not completed the required qualification by this date are not eligible.

The selection process consists of the following stages. Candidates must qualify each stage to proceed to the next:

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Race – Qualifying in nature; tests physical fitness and endurance
2. Physical Standard Test (PST) – Verification of height, weight, and chest measurements; includes biometric verification
3. Computer Based Test (CBT) – Written objective-type exam; includes negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer; final merit is based on CBT scores
4. Trade / Skill Test – Practical test to assess trade knowledge; qualifying in nature
5. Document Verification (DV) – Verification of all original documents and certificates
6. Detailed Medical Examination (DME) / Re-Medical Examination (RME) – Final medical fitness check before appointment

5. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated and sent to your registered mobile and email
6. Log in using the registration number and password to fill the complete application form
7. Select your state/domicile carefully — Tradesmen vacancies are state-specific; incorrect domicile selection cannot be corrected after submission
8. Select the trade you are applying for and fill all required details
9. Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and required documents
10. Pay the application fee (Rs. 100 for General/OBC/EWS; Nil for SC/ST/Female) via online mode
