The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) is set to declare the Telangana Intermediate 1st and 2nd Year Results 2026 today, April 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The results will be officially announced at the board premises in Hyderabad by K. Keshava Rao, Advisor to the Government of Telangana (Public Affairs), and Yogita Rana, I.A.S., Secretary to Government, Telangana Education Department and Vice-Chairperson, TGBIE. This will bring an end to the anticipation of nearly 9.9 lakh students across the state.
The TS Inter Results 2026 have been successfully declared on April 12, 2026. The overall pass percentage stands at 66.20% for 1st Year and 70.58% for 2nd Year. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 74.4% vs 57.69%.

To check their TS Inter Result 2026, students must first visit the official website: tgbie.cgg.gov.in or tgbienew.cgg.gov.in.
Next, they will need to click on the result link for TS Inter 1st Year Result 2026 or TS Inter 2nd Year Result 2026, depending on their class.
Then, they must enter their hall ticket number, result year, class, and category in the login window.
Subsequently, they will need to click on the submit button to proceed.
Finally, the TSBIE Result 2026 and marks memo will be displayed on the screen. Students are advised to download it and take a printout for future reference.

Minimum Marks Required to Pass
To pass the TS Inter 2026 examinations, students must secure a minimum of 35% marks in each subject, including both theoretical and practical components wherever applicable. Students must also achieve an overall aggregate of 35% out of 1,000 marks to be declared pass. Any student securing less than this will be considered to have failed the examination.
About the Examinations
The Telangana Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) 2026 were conducted in a single shift between 9:00 AM and 12:00 Noon across the state. Of the total 9.9 lakh students, 4,89,126 students appeared for the 1st year exams while 5,07,949 students appeared for the 2nd year exams. The result will include the student’s name, subject-wise marks, total marks, grades, and pass or fail status. The board will also release the overall pass percentage and toppers list along with the result declaration today.
