CBSE 12th Result 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2026 results. Students who appeared for the annual board examination can now access their marksheets online through the official result portals and government platforms. The result links have been activated on CBSE websites as well as DigiLocker. Students are advised to keep their Roll Number, School Number and Admit Card ID ready to avoid delays while checking scores.

CBSE Class 12 Result 2026: Overall Pass Percentage Drops Slightly

Along with the declaration of the CBSE 12th Result 2026, the board has released detailed performance statistics for this year’s examination. As per the official data, more than 17.8 lakh students registered for the Class 12 board exams, while around 17.6 lakh candidates appeared in the final examination.

Out of the total appeared candidates, over 15 lakh students cleared the examination successfully. The overall pass percentage for CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 stood at 85.20 percent.

Girls continued to perform better than boys in this year’s results. The pass percentage among girls reached 88.86%, whereas boys recorded 82.13%. Transgender students once again achieved a perfect 100 percent result.

Among institutions, Kendriya Vidyalayas emerged as the top-performing category with a pass percentage above 98 percent. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas also recorded an excellent success rate, remaining close to KVs in overall performance.

The board also revealed that thousands of students scored exceptionally high marks this year. More than 94,000 candidates secured above 90 percent marks, while over 17,000 students crossed the 95 percent mark in the CBSE Class 12 Board Examination 2026.

Passing Criteria for CBSE Class 12 Exam
