New Delhi: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the RRB NTPC UG City Intimation Slip 2026 today, April 27, 2026, at rrb.digialm.com and all regional RRB websites. Candidates who will appear for the exam on May 7, 8 and 9, 2026 can download their city slip right now. Over 63 lakh candidates applied under CEN 07/2025 for 3,058 undergraduate posts. City slips for the June phase exam dates will be released separately closer to those dates.
This is only the city slip not the admit card. The admit card (e-call letter) will be released 4 days before your exam date. Do not confuse the two documents.

How to Download RRB NTPC UG City Slip 2026
- Visit rrb.digialm.com or your regional RRB website such as rrbcdg.gov.in
- Click on the link “CEN 07/2025 (NTPC UG): CBT-1 City Intimation“ on the homepage
- Enter your Registration Number and Password or Date of Birth along with captcha
- Your city slip will appear on screen check all details carefully
- Download the PDF and save it for travel planning
- SC and ST candidates can also download their free Travel Authority from the same login
What the City Slip Contains
- Candidate name, registration number and roll number
- Allotted exam city and state
- Scheduled exam date
- Shift timing (Morning, Afternoon or Evening)
The city slip does NOT contain the exam centre address. That will only be available on the admit card.
City Slip vs Admit Card
The city slip is only for advance travel planning. You cannot enter the exam hall with just the city slip. The RRB NTPC UG Admit Card 2026 will be released 4 days before your exam date and will contain the exact centre address, roll number and reporting instructions. Keep checking rrbcdg.gov.in and your regional RRB website for admit card updates.
What to Do After Downloading City Slip
- Check exam city, date and shift timing carefully
- Book train, bus or flight tickets immediately as May travel is in high demand
- Arrange accommodation near the exam city if needed
- Make sure your Aadhaar is unlocked in UIDAI system before exam day
- Keep checking your regional RRB website for admit card release update
Aadhaar Biometric Verification – Important Notice
Aadhaar-enabled biometric verification will be mandatory at the exam centre. Candidates must bring their original Aadhaar card. If your Aadhaar is locked in the UIDAI system, unlock it before the exam day by visiting myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in. Candidates without valid Aadhaar or with locked biometrics may face issues at entry.
RRB NTPC UG Exam Pattern Quick Overview
The CBT consists of 100 multiple choice questions for 100 marks to be completed in 90 minutes. Sections are General Awareness, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning. Negative marking is 1/3 mark per wrong answer. Three shifts will be held daily candidates must report at the centre 1.5 hours before their shift. Last entry is permitted 30 minutes before exam start.
Q3. What if my allotted exam city is far from my home?
No requests for changes to the exam date, city, shift, or centre will be entertained by RRB. Book your travel and accommodation immediately after downloading the city slip. SC and ST candidates can download the free Travel Authority from the same login portal at rrb.digialm.com.
