The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the CBSE Class 10 Result 2026 on April 15, 2026. Along with the result, the board has also released the overall pass percentage and performance statistics. The CBSE 10th Topper List 2026 will not be officially released by the board, as CBSE discontinued this practice in 2020 to reduce exam pressure and unhealthy competition among students. However, CBSE awards Merit Certificates to top performers in each subject, and unofficial topper lists are later compiled by coaching institutes and media sources.

The board took this decision to reduce academic pressure, exam anxiety, and unhealthy competition among students. Since then, CBSE has not published any official All India or state-wise topper list for Class 10. Students, parents, and the media are advised not to rely on any list claiming to be an “official CBSE topper list.”
